Giving Glory Back to You
Sometimes, this song is what seems to express my deepest desire as I seek to become more Christlike and yield to His purpose.
Lord, take out of me, remove pride of life, lusts, unforgiveness, bitterness, self-will, and anything that stands in your way, anything that doesn’t give glory to God, that prevents me from shining, a new heart and a new spirit, remove the tendency to be worldly and materialistic, help us to constantly renew our minds and not be conformed to this world. Remove slothfulness and lethargy, every tendency to betray or rebel against You.
May our lives always give glory to God, bless humanity, and be a holy preparation for eternity with Jesus!
