Has any situation burdened your heart and stolen your joy? This piece is to encourage you if you are downcast or if you are discouraged in any way.
The title “release that burden” is a word that came through my pastor, Aanu Adedeji, during a solemn worship session in the Sisters Conference yesterday. It was the uplifting word I needed, timely and comforting!
Philippians 4:6 – do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Are you going through a situation that seems to cast aspersions on the almightiness of God?
Keep your faith alive. You serve a living and loving God.
God is fully aware of your circumstances.
1 Peter 5:7 – casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Yes, things may not be working out as expected. But through it, we are not going to let anything separate us from the love of Christ.
It may seem like the answer to your prayer is taking forever to come.
Be honest and vulnerable in Daddy’s Presence. Pour out your heart to your Father in reverence, for He is the God of all flesh, and there is nothing too hard for Him to do (Jeremiah 32:27), just that His ways, thoughts, and timing are completely different from ours.
But in all, He is ever true and faithful. So don’t let the devil use that situation to steal your peace, joy, faith, and resolve to please the Lord.
May the Holy Spirit flood your heart with great joy, peace, and faith.
Take to thanksgiving, heartily expressing Your worship and gratitude to the Lord for Who He is, what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is going to do.
As you do this, release your burdens to Him, clothe yourself with the garment of praise, and trust in God’s faithfulness and love.
Remember, the Lord is able to make all things work together for good because He loves you dearly, and you are called according to His purpose.
May our lives always give glory to God, bless humanity, and be a holy preparation for eternity with Jesus!
